The Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta is a fabulous two-day event which is perfect for any needlework or textile enthusiast.
On the ground floor you will find both national and local traders offering textiles, yarns, embroidery kits, weaving and beading supplies, patchwork, vintage textiles, tribal textiles, fabric, haberdashery, sewing machines and much more.
Upstairs you can meet and chat with our working artists who will be demonstrating all kinds of textile art and craft – free motion and hand embroidery, weaving, batik, automata, printed fabrics, bag making and book binding.
Originally the Fiesta was a commercial event, but in 2004 it was taken over by a dedicated team of volunteers and is now run as a not-for-profit event which raises much needed cash for local charities.
And the biggest cheer of the weekend always goes to the ladies of the WI who keep shoppers happy with homemade goodies.
